LOCAL GOVERNMENT EDUCATION AREA ACTIVITIES, 1999-2007
Following the creation of Mai’adua local Government from the defunct of Daura Local Government in 1991, the District Adult Education office was provided to House the LGEA before permanent one was built by Alhaji Yusuf Bello in 1992.
THE LGEA STRUCTURE
- The LGEA has sixty five (65) Primary Schools.
- The LGEA has two Hundred and five (205) classrooms
- Thirty Four (34) office accommodation.
- One Hundred and seventy Eight toilets.

LOCAL GOVERNMENT CONTRIBUTION
- Construction of eighteen number of blocks of two classrooms at different schools in LGEA
- Construction of pilot Primary school with Head master’s office and fencing of the school
- General rehabilitation of many primary schools in the LGEA.
- Construction of toilets facilities in most primary Schools.
- General rehabilitation of LGEA office
- Donation of 22 seaters Mercedes Bus to boost UBE activity in the LGEA
- Donation of Toyota Mini Bus to pilot Primary School
- Purchase of Textbooks worth (N5000, 000.00K) for distribution of Primary Schools.
- Printing of 30,000 copies of continuous Assessment booklets.
- Provision of transport and feeding allowance to teachers and pupils during common entrance examination.
- Donation of trophy for debating competitions among Primary Schools in the LGEA.
- Provision of one Hundred and twenty Thousand Naira (120,000.00) monthly as Headmasters allowance and office impress.
- Supply of essential commodities for distribution to teaching staff of the LGEA during Fasting and Sallah Festivities.
- Purchase and distribution of admission forms for Higher Institution to all Qualify Primary Pupils.
ROLE OF PTA
- Mobilizing of parents to send their children to school.
- Inspection to see for themselves happening in schools.
- Construction of 4 number locks of two classrooms at the following schools.

- Yusuf Bello Primary School
- Kongwallon Primary School
- Guzu Primary School
- Supply of instructional Materials to pupils from the less privileged families.
ROLE OF COMMUNITIES
Communities in partnership with PTA provided fund for rehabilitation of infrastructure and other school Furniture through self-help projects. The schools that benefited from the self-help project are:

- Construction of one block of two classrooms at Hamza Abdullahi Primary School
- Construction of one block of two classrooms at Gazali Primary School

PHILANTROPIST CONTRIBUTIONS
The following contributed positively:
- Alhaji Rabe Musa Mai’adua: Repairs all broken desks and chairs in schools within Mai’adua Township. Supply of writing materials to school within Mai’adua. Making financial assistance to any school that seeks such assistance from him.
- Alhaji Amadu (Adidas): Supply writing materials to schools. Awarding prizes students so as to motivate them. Donation of wall clock to schools.
- Alhaji Jafaru Tukur : Supplied classrooms furniture to Tsabu Primary School
